Russell Wilson and Ciara Will Offload Their Seattle Estate for a Grand Total of $31 Million

NFL quarterback Russell Wilson and his Grammy Award-winning wife, Ciara, have finally sold their entire Bellevue, Washington, estate. After a $28 million asking price and a series of cuts, an as-yet-to-be-revealed buyer is set to close on the 11,000-square-foot mansion for $21.25 million later this month, according to the Wall Street Journal. A smaller lot, which was purchased by the couple four years after Wilson first bought the adjacent 1.06-acre property, was quickly snapped up in 2022 for $9.75 million after the entire 1.89-acre estate hit the market for $36 million. The couple will bag $31 million in total after the transaction is complete.

Wilson paid $6.7 million for the six-bedroom, five-bathroom abode in 2015, three years after he started as the Seattle Seahawks’ quarterback. In 2019, the couple, who wed in 2016, dropped another $6.7 million for the lot next door. They eventually built a sports court on that property.

Set on a bluff, the luxe manse provides ample views of serene Lake Washington from almost every room. Decor in the neoclassical interior is characterized by the pared-back use of columns, arches, crown molding, and scrolled edges. A particularly stunning feature is a spiral staircase in the double-height foyer, embellished with an intricately carved wrought iron balustrade.

Amenities in the home include a gym, a theater, a yoga and dance studio, and a two-story treehouse out back for the couple’s four young kids. Reached via a long, zig-zagging staircase or tram, the base of the bluff renders 270 feet of flat land that abuts the water, adding two small, private beaches to the estate. There’s also a three-slip dock which makes room for two jet-skis and a 60-foot yacht.

The sale of the estate was prompted by Wilson’s trade to the Denver Broncos in 2022. Most recently, he signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers in March. No word yet on the family planning a permanent move to Pittsburgh.
